Trump and FBI: Did the Boss bully the Pinkertons into submission?
What did change in the span of one day to produce this highly publicised switch from the open question (which it still is, despite the FBI's protestations) about the nature of the Trump's "wound" (a "nothing" covered just with one strip of band-aid) from "bullet or shrapnel" to "definitely a bullet"? Did any new evidence transpire? Did some insightful piece of analysis and logical reasoning materialize? I doubt it.
It looks like the FBI was bullied into submission by Trump and his trumpets, insisting that it was a bullet just because it must be a bullet in these circumstances.
I think, the logical reasoning of the "visual analysis" provided by the NYTimes should be examined, and very carefully, by the specialists, including those in the Counterintelligence. A question may be asked (one of those open questions), if the paper of record turned into the tool of disinformation exploited by the Putinistas and Trumpistas.
I hope, the FBI's thinking and the change of position if any, is not based on this article, although on a surface it was made to look like it.
IMHO, the question about the nature and the exact origin of the Trump's right ear wound remains open, and it should not be discounted as one of the subjects of the Trump Rally Shooting Investigations.
I also hope, that the FBI is not afraid of Trump's threats and remains impartial in its pledge to leave no stone unturned in its investigation.
