Why?  Because in my experience, the messages coming from the GRU or other Russian Intelligence Services (it is not easy to differentiate between them) are complex, with many and various rich meanings in one word or even one syllable, interwoven,  with funny word plays, and at the same time they feel easy, artful, and playful. I did not notice any long term effects. There may be some differences and variations in this technology.  I also think that it may be the New Abwehr as the culprit, conducting and perfecting the new weapon, and using the GRU as the cover, at least in some cases.  M.N.

(Этого гавнюка даже не было необходимости "раскалывать", он сам во всём сразу признался, радостно и охотно.) I dismissed it as an empty chatter and the strange fantasies at that time. It took me almost forty years to realize that it was the absolute truth. I ask the FBI and the other relevant structures to interrogate this individual further and to learn more relevant details.  He also told me, that "they have someone here in the FBI, on the high level - у них здесь есть свой человек, большая шишка".
