'Dead Bodies WASH UP on Ganges Shore as Indian Covid-19 Death Toll Surges'
As India grapples with a soaring coronavirus death rate, bodies have begun to wash up on the shores of the Ganges - the holy river where Hindus are traditionally buried.
With crematoriums working at capacity as the country's death toll reaches a quarter of a million, families are being forced to take matters into their own hands when it comes to their relatives' last rites.
Some are using cow dung as fuel as wood supplies run dangerously low, while others have resorted to burying their dead without first cremating them as tradition dictates.

All Republican lawmakers except for one left the House chamber as GOP Rep. Liz Cheney blasted former President Donald Trump and Republicans who refuse to condemn him.
In a speech to Congress on Tuesday, Cheney criticized those in her party who have not censured Trump's false claims that the 2020 election was stolen and his ongoing "crusade to undermine our democracy."
CNN reporter Annie Grayer tweeted: "Ken Buck is the only lawmaker watching Liz Cheney speak on the House floor. The rest cleared out."
-Annie Grayer (@AnnieGrayerCNN) May 12, 2021
Buck, a Republican, represents Colorado's 4th district.
CNN anchor Anderson Cooper also said while reporting on her speech: "I just heard it in my ear that her colleagues, fellow lawmakers, Republican lawmakers, they cleared out of the chamber when she was speaking. Only one remained to even listen to what she was saying."
On Wednesday, Liz Cheney's colleagues are voting on whether to remove her from her leadership positions and replace her with Rep. Elise Stefanik, a Trump loyalist. Cheney is the House GOP conference chair and the third-highest-ranked Republican leader in the House.
