However, you can deal with them if you see them clearly. It means the radical, to their utmost depths and roots, examinations, investigations, and the careful, thoughtful reforms. The classic observation of some social critics on the American political life and psychology: the Americans love and enjoy putting their Crooks on their pedestals in the grand, royal, majestic, and exalted fashion, readily and willfully blindly; just to take them off those flimsy constructions in a short while and in the same perverted way: it makes us feel liberatingly good about ourselves: not too predatory and not too lonely. "We are not the only crooks around here. We are just a small fish, in fact. The big sharks rule the oceans, with the absolute impunity and even praise and respect."

Some other thoughts: the Russian Mob-Oligarchs-Putin's Mafia State are in fact interested in Trump's downfall now: they cannot get much out of him politically: the American political and social institutions, the unique Culture at large, and the traditional, liberal, free speech mentality and the open political competition keep The Crook firmly in check. But the Russian Mob can get something out of him personally: his Real Estate properties AT HALF A PRICE DUE TO DISEASE X-19 DISCOUNT, because they hold his debt papers, the mortgage on these properties, and they can make this claim only when Trump is out of the White House. This confirms that the Trump 2016 Election and the Pandemic can be the two lines of the same diabolical plot, and this also highlights the German New Abwehr's and the Russian Mob's respective roles in this affair.
Mr. Brennan, whatever you say now about Trump sounds real good but this does not absolve you, on a personal level, the other relevant actors, and the whole U.S. IC (Intelligence Community, the array of persons and the Institutions) from the heavy, grave responsibility for this catastrophe and a nightmare (in many respects, from Counterintelligence to Geopolitics ): it did happen on your watch. And this has to be looked into: WHY DID IT HAPPEN?! And the history and the essence of these IC Institutions have to be looked into also, way back, for about a half a century or more so in retrospect, as your humble servant cum blogger had a chance to mention many times previously.
Why and how did all these horrible, unseemly, and unimaginable things happen? What went wrong?!
I am afraid that the hypothetical answers to these questions may lie on the deeper and the more immutable level than all of us would wish. On the level of the human nature, in other words.
The Political Animal in us is the part and the reflection of the Human Animal in us, and the animals we are, first of all and most of all.
