Russian Officers killed in Ukraine π¨πΏπΊπ¦
The number of reported deaths began to decline in the last week. This may be related to the change in the form of the war and increasing pressure from the Russian authorities against disclosure.
PUTINS KRIEG: "Es ist einfach beΓ€ngstigend!"

- Tampon manufacturers like Procter & Gamble said they are working to tackle tampon shortages.
- The US is witnessing a squeeze on the necessities, caused by demand and supply chain snarls.
- US Senator for New Hampshire, Maggie Hassan, said the shortages were "very troubling."
Tampon manufacturers say they are trying to combat shortages, as retailers and consumers report difficulties accessing the hygiene products.
Multiple outlets, including the BBC and Bloomberg, reported the news.
Procter & Gamble told Bloomberg that the company was "working hard to ramp up production to meet the increased demand for our products." The company owns a number of the biggest sanitary product brands in the US, including Tampax and Always.
Edgewell Personal Care, which manufactures brands like Playtex and O.B., told the BBC that manufacturers were working "around the clock" to restock shelves.
The US is witnessing a squeeze on tampon supplies as a result of ongoing supply chain problems, pushing up the cost of the necessities. The war in Ukraine has also affected supplies of plastics and absorbancy materials used to manufacture products, and fertilizer needed to grow cotton.
Procter & Gamble admitted on a recent earnings call that sourcing raw materials was a sticking point. Edgewell Personal Care cited staff shortages caused by COVID infection surges in 2021 and 2022 as a reason for a fall in stocks, per the BBC.
The supply chain and logistics problems have meant retailers have struggled to keep shelves fully restocked and people have moved online to find their preferred brands.
Walgreens previously confirmed experiencing "brand specific shortages" in some areas, while CVS admitted that some suppliers had "not been able to fulfill the full quantities of orders placed," Insider's Gabrielle Bienasz previously reported.
On Monday, the US Senator for New Hampshire, Maggie Hassan, wrote to the CEO of Procter & Gamble, urging the manufacturer to tackle the shortages, which she labelled "very troubling."
Hassan cited a story in Time Magazine, in which a reporter was unable to find tampons across several states, and criticized the "price gouging" of items.
"Access to menstrual products should be treated like every other essential good," Sen. Hassan wrote.
At the beginning of the pandemic, price gouging of essentials like toilet paper, cleaning supplies, and hand sanitizer was rightly criticized as an exploitation of an emergency for financial gain. Menstrual products should receive that same consideration."
The rising cost of tampons is another setback for consumers, who are already battling inflation on other necessities like food and fuel.
The average cost of a box of tampons increased by almost 10% throughout the year up to May 28, Bloomberg reported, citing NielsenIQ.
A number of tampon manufacturers, including Procter & Gamble, Edgewell Personal Care, Kimberly-Clark, and Johnson & Johnson, did not immediately respond to Insider's request for comment.

The Ukrainian Special Operations Forces have published footage of a high-precision strike eliminating Russian BM-21 Grad rocket artillery launchers in the Luhansk region. The Ukrainian military stated: “Having established the exact coordinates of enemy vehicles with the help of an unmanned aircraft system, our soldiers transmitted this data to the gunners of the NGU [National […]

U.S. President Joe Biden will attend a union convention in Philadelphia on Tuesday as he seeks to deepen relationships with organized labor and improve his approval ratings and popularity among Democrats, which have taken a hit recently.
Biden will speak at the AFL-CIO Constitutional Convention, which is held every four years, and where labor leaders chart strategy. The labor federation comprises 57 affiliated unions and 12.5 million workers.
It is led by Liz Shuler, the federation's first female president, who replaced longtime labor leader Richard Trumka, who died last year.
Biden, who is often called the "most pro-union president" by labor leaders, has continued to throw his support behind unions and collective bargaining.
He has ousted government officials whom unions deemed hostile to labor, reversed Trump-era rules that weakened worker protections and established a White House labor taskforce to reverse a decades-long decline in union membership.
More recently, Biden met with a new generation of union organizers at the White House, warned major businesses that their workforces would seek to unionize with his support and has supported a push on Capitol Hill that allows for congressional staffers to unionize.
Support from unions was key to Biden's win in key swing states in the 2020 election. Biden won 57% of union households nationwide compared with 40% for former President Donald Trump, according to Edison Research.
Only 10.3% of the U.S. workforce was represented by a union in 2021, down from more than 30% in the 1950s, the White House said in February. The numbers are even lower for private-sector employees, where union membership has fallen to 6.1% in 2021 from 16.8% in 1983.
Here are some takeaways. nyti.ms/3Qki2vh
